When your pool equipment isn’t running right, water quality suffers fast—and small issues can turn into expensive failures. Wildwood Pools provides professional pool equipment service and repairs to help homeowners and commercial facilities restore circulation, heating, filtration, and automation with minimal downtime.
In business since 1972, our team helps customers throughout Fresno, Madera, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo Counties troubleshoot problems, make smart repair-or-replace decisions, and keep systems running efficiently season after season.
Pool equipment problems often show up as symptoms: cloudy water, weak return flow, strange noises at the pad, breaker trips, error codes, or a heater that won’t fire. The right fix starts with an accurate diagnosis—then clear options based on safety, performance, and long-term cost.
Wildwood Pools focuses on equipment-level solutions that support the whole pool system. That includes correcting installation issues, replacing failing components, improving hydraulic efficiency, and recommending preventive tune-ups to help you avoid repeat breakdowns.
A failing pump can sound louder than usual, lose prime, leak at the seal plate, or run but move very little water. We service single-speed, two-speed, and variable-speed pumps and address common issues such as:
If a replacement makes more sense than a rebuild, we’ll walk you through compatible options and efficiency upgrades to help reduce operating costs.
Poor filtration can look like constant dust in the pool, fast pressure rise, short filter cycles, or water that never quite clears. We service major filter types and can help with:
We’ll also verify that the filter size matches your pool and pump output—an overlooked mismatch that can cause chronic clarity issues.
When heat is inconsistent—or you’re seeing error codes, ignition failures, or low temperature rise—equipment service needs to include safety checks and proper diagnostics. We assist with:
If you’re considering an upgrade, we can help you compare performance expectations, installation requirements, and operating costs.
Automation should make pool ownership easier, not more frustrating. If schedules won’t save, relays are failing, or equipment won’t respond in the app, we can help diagnose control-side issues and restore reliability. Typical service includes:
If you’re ready for a modernized setup, we can recommend upgrade paths that fit your pool and your priorities.
Many “repairs” start as small maintenance problems: dirty filters, weak seals, unbalanced water that damages components, or airflow issues around heaters. Preventative service can help extend equipment life and reduce surprise failures. A tune-up may include:
Some problems can’t wait—loss of circulation, active leaks at the equipment pad, or a system that won’t power on. Priority scheduling may be available for urgent situations, depending on technician availability and parts. Call and describe what you’re seeing; we’ll help you determine next steps quickly.

What Some of Our Clients Have to Say
The absolute best. I had 3 quotes and not only was Wildwood the lowest they were also the best quality. Not only with parts and equipment but with service as well. Stephen worked with us from the beginning and made this a very painless and easy process. I highly recommend Wildwood pools!

Wildwood Aquatech Pools absolutely exceeded our expectations! They designed and built a pool that we’re going to enjoy for many years to come. It all started with our sales representative, Stephen, who took all of our ideas and turned them into an amazing design. And a big shoutout to Sam, our project lead, who was hands‑on throughout the entire process—checking on progress, coordinating the team, and even jumping in to do some of the work himself. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend Wildwood Aquatech Pools!

Wildwood did an amazing job installing our pool in 2013. We've really enjoyed it, and felt they were great at communicating and answering our questions. After nearly 6 years of use, a rust spot formed in the plaster and it turned out to be caused by some rebar under the plaster. Wildwood was amazing, and although the pool is out of warranty, they drained the pool and repaired the spot without charge. We're very happy with them, and highly recommend them to anyone.

We found Wildwood based on a recommendation. Stephen was instrumental in helping with the pool / yard design. He was engaging and a part of the construction process from start to finish. All of my questions were quickly answered as he was very responsive and easy to get a hold off. Patty at Wildwood was awesome at managing the project. If I had any concerns with the subs, she was quick to address them and make everything right. I enjoyed working with Wildwood so much that I retained their weekly pool cleaning service! I recommend this company to anyone I know that is wishing to build a pool!

We start by reviewing symptoms, checking equipment operation, and identifying likely failure points. Then we provide a clear estimate and outline options.
A qualified technician performs the service with attention to safety, manufacturer guidelines, and correct installation practices.
We complete the agreed work using appropriate parts and procedures—whether that’s a targeted repair, a rebuild, or a full equipment replacement.
After the work is complete, we test operation and verify performance (flow, pressure behavior, heating response, automation communication, and leak-free connections as applicable).
We review what was fixed, what to watch for, and how to prevent repeat issues. If you want ongoing support, we can recommend a maintenance cadence that fits your pool and usage.
Choosing the right service company matters—especially when you’re dealing with high-voltage equipment, gas heating, automation controls, and water chemistry that all affect each other. Customers choose Wildwood Pools for:
We service core pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters/heat pumps, valves, and many automation/control components. If you’re not sure what you have, tell us the symptoms and (if possible) share equipment model numbers or photos.
Many common repairs can be completed in a single visit when parts are available. More complex issues, specialty components, or replacements may require additional time. We’ll set expectations before work begins.
We stand behind our workmanship, and many parts include manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by equipment and repair type—ask your technician for the specific coverage tied to your service.
We provide pool equipment service across Fresno, Madera, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo Counties. If you’re near the edge of our service area, contact us and we’ll confirm availability.
For many pools, periodic tune-ups during peak season help catch wear early (seals, filtration performance, airflow around heaters, and early leak detection). The ideal cadence depends on usage, environment, and equipment age—we can recommend a schedule after a quick assessment.
If your pool system is leaking, losing circulation, not heating, or throwing error codes, we’re here to help. Request service online or call to schedule an on-site diagnostic and estimate.
